To help students tame the procrastination beast (as I like to call it), I’m reading and sharing strategies from Timothy Pychyl’s Solving the Procrastination Puzzle.

For those procrastinators, here are three simple tips from the book:

  1. Remove potential distractions.
  2. Keep your long-term goal in mind to help with motivation.
  3. Just get started. Often, once we start a task it’s not as bad as we thought it would be.
